As this is a pure chalk paint, it needs to be sealed afterwards. For this purpose,
Vintage Paint offers a range of waxes and topcoats in both matte and glossy finishes.
This provides excellent protection for the surface and makes it suitable even for heavy use.

For the pre treatment of bleeding woods, Vintage Paint also offers a Stainblock, which should be used as a base coat when painting open pored natural woods.
It prevents the paint from becoming discoloured after application, because as with any chalk paint,
the tannins, which are natural colourants in the wood, can bleed through into the paint.

Thanks to its natural character, Vintage Paint has a beautifully matte and powdery finish.
It offers very good coverage. After painting, you can go over the surface once more with a fleece cloth to achieve an especially
smooth and beautiful result. The colours are currently available in 60 different shades.

All shades can be mixed together, allowing you to create your very own custom colour.
